YYB Aerospace/Aviation Park

Owned by the Corporation of the City of North Bay, the airport is managed and operated by the North Bay Jack Garland Airport Corporation (NBJGAC). The Airport Corporation operates two terminal buildings and works cooperatively with the City of North Bay to promote development opportunities.

There are over 31 individual businesses based at the airport, providing a variety of aviation and non-aviation services. A significant cluster of aerospace firms involved in a wide range of activities is already established at the airport, including aircraft manufacturing/assembly (Bombardier’s CL 415 amphibious aircraft assembly facility), maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) (Voyageur Airways), and flight training and post secondary aviation training activities (Canadore’s Aviation College). These companies employ in excess of 500 employees.
